I had a panic attack at school Friday morning because I have necrophobia and there happened to be a deer leg sitting on the back table in my human anatomy class. Want to know the kicker? I brought the leg in! It was my pathetic attempt to get over my fear...didn't work so well. After that, I found out that the cast list won't be posted until WEDNESDAY, which means I don't get to find out what part I got in the play. Then I realized that it was my boss' birthday and I didn't get him anything! So I ran to the store quick and bought a bag of Swedish Fish, which we shared over stories about my childhood (I've known my boss since I was three days old...yeah, small town). I got to bed early Friday because early next morning I had to help a man with Parkinsons (who is as stubborn as a mule) go shopping with his short-tempered wife. It was sleeting and I was frozen all day. I got home and my little brother asked me to go skating with him. So I did, but only to discover that they did not rent out figure skates...only hockey skates. I'm a figure skater...hockey skates are deadly! So I biffed it a few times, resulting in numerous bruises. Then this morning I got to wrap all the Christmas presents...including my own. Guess what I'm getting? An autographed picture of Gerard Butler as the Phantom of the Opera! I almost didn't wrap it...I want it now! I also started to write the 2nd act of my musical, but I am so distracted by Anatomy homework...I checked my college application status, even though I know they don't work on Sunday. Now I'm about to watch the football game with the family as we are slowly snowed in. All-in-all, I'd say it was a pretty good weekend.
